On Thursday, December 1, 2016 people around the world commemorated the 28th annual World AIDS Day. This day is dedicated to raising awareness of the AIDS pandemic caused by the spread of HIV infection, and mourning those who have died of the disease. Government and health officials, non-governmental organizations and individuals around the world observe the day, often with education on AIDS prevention and control. After years of being on the front lines advocating and educating as many as they can about living with this disease, two Gamma brothers took the spotlight on WAD 2016 about their tireless efforts and contributions to seeing an end to this epidemic.
